현대사회는 고도의 경제성장과 과학기술의 발달로 생활문화의 선진화, 정보매
체 및 통신문화의 발달을 촉진시켜 인간의 생활을 편리하고 윤택하게 변화시켜
주었고, 생활여건과 삶의 질을 향상시켰다. 반면 여러 가지 병적현상 즉 운동부
족, 인간소외 문제, 환경오염, 생활공간의 협소, 성인병 증가 등을 초래하게 되
어 스포츠가 현대인의 삶과 밀접한 관계를 맺기에 이르렀다.
스포츠 활동은 사회적 성격을 길러주며 인격도야와 신체적 단련뿐만 아니라
우리생활에 직접, 간접적으로 많은 교훈과 가치를 부여하고 있기 때문에 이는
인격형성과 자아발전에 중요한 역할을 한다. 그리고 단체 활동 등에 참여함으로
써 협동심, 단결심을 길러주며 사회성을 함양할 수 있게 해준다.
이와 같이 사회생활에 필요한 리더쉽의 함양을 위하여 현대사회에서 중요시
되고 있는 스포츠 활동과 리더쉽과의 관계를 규명해 볼 필요성이 있다.
본 연구는 대학생시기에 많은 관심과 흥미를 갖고 있는 스포츠 활동에 직접
참여함으로써 스포츠의 사회적 기능 중의 하나인 사회화를 통하여 사회에 적응
할 수 있는 능력을 향상시키며, 사회화의 완성단계에 있는 대학생들의 스포츠
참여유형을 조사하고 리더쉽과의 관계를 분석하려고 한다. 본 연구의 조사대상
은 경기에 소재하고 있는 대학교에 재학중인 남녀 대학생 254명을 대상으로 선
정하여 분석을 실시하였다.
자료분석은 본 연구에서 사용된 자료의 분석은 SPSS WIN 12.0 한국어판 통
계 패키지를 사용하였으며 적용된 통계분석방법은 표본 집단의 기초적 특성에
대한 빈도분석(Frequency analysis)과 기술분석(Technical analysis)를 실시하였
으며, 참여유형에 따른 리더쉽의 차이에 대해서는 성별 및 각각의 참여유형 변
수들을 독립변수로 이용하여 다음과 같은 이원변량분석(two-way ANOVA)을
실시하였다.
성별 및 신체활동 참여여부에 따른 리더쉽 차이는 성별에서는 차이가 나타나
지 않았으며, 신체활동 참여여부에 있어서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 성별과
신체활동 참여여부의 상호작용은 성별에 따라 다르지 않았다.
참여기간 및 성별에 따른 리더쉽 차이는 성별에서는 차이가 나타나지 않았으
며, 참여기간에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 성별과 참여기간의 상호작용은
성별에 따라 다르게 나타났다.
활동유형 및 성별에 따른 리더쉽 차이는 성별에 있어서 차이가 나타나지 않
았고, 가입여부에 있어서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 성별과 활동유형의 상호작용
은 성별에 따라 다르지 않았다.
클럽이나 동호인 가입여부 및 성별에 따른 리더쉽 차이는 성별에 있어서 차
이가 나타나지 않았으며, 가입여부에 있어서 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 클럽이나
동호인 가입여부의 상호작용은 성별에 따라 다르지 않았다.
임원활동여부 및 성별에 따른 리더쉽 차이는 성별과 임원활동여부에 있어서

Because sports activity gives many moral instructions and values as well
as it builds up sociality, personality, physical strength, it has a great effect
on character building and the perfection of self. And it grows team spirit and spirit of unity by the participation in a team competition. We need to
examine relationship of sports activity and leadership for building essential
leadership in social activity.
This research tries to improve ability that can adapt in society through
socialization that is one of social function of sports by participating directly
in sports activity that takes a lot of interests and interests in university
student time, and investigates sports participation type of university students
in completion step of socialization and analyzes relation with leadership.
The subject of study is 126 university students who are at university
located Kyong-gi Do.
Data analysis based on program SPSS WIN 12.0 Korean Statistics
