TV만을 통해서 방송을 시청할 수 있었던 수용의 형태에서 벗어날 수 있게 되었으며, 시간의 제약이 없어지고 공간의 이동 또한 가능해졌다. 이러한 특징들로 <마이 리틀 텔레비전>은 기존에 지상파방송에서 취하던 방송포맷에서 벗어나 새로운 방송포맷들을 차용하였다. 그러나 <마이 리틀 텔레비전>의 방송포맷과 포맷의 특징들이 인터넷 방송 <아프리카TV>의 방송포맷에 영향을 받았다고 선행연구들은 말하고 있다. 편성과 제작측면에서 이 두 방송은 많은 유사점을 띄고 있다. 지상파 방송국이 개국이 된 이후 많은 독점을 해왔다. 경쟁사인 케이블 방송국의 위력은 크지 않았으며 별다른 영향을 주지 못했었다. 그러나 종합편성채널의 등장과 케이블 채널의 발전, 더 나아가 인터넷에서까지 방송의 플랫폼들이 나타남으로써 지상파 방송국의 영향력은 감소하고 있다. 이러한 결과로 지상파 방송은 인기 있는 프로그램이 있으면 그대로 응용을 하여 비슷한 프로그램을 만들어냈다. MBC <나는 가수다>라는 음악 경연 프로그램이 큰 인기와 화제를 몰고 오자 KBS에서는 <불후의 명곡>, SBS에서는 <K팝스타>등 비슷한 포맷의 특징을 가진 방송들이 나타나게 되었다. 또한 케이블 tvN에서 ‘꽃보다 할배’라는 예능 프로그램이 인기를 얻게 되자 KBS에서는 <마마도>라는 비슷한 예능 프로그램을 제작하였다. 더 나아가서는 B급 문화라고 말하는 인터넷 방송까지 영향을 받아 프로그램이 제작되었다. 그 프로그램이 바로 <마이 리틀 텔레비전>이다. 따라서 본 연구는 인터넷 방송 <아프리카TV>의 영향을 받은 <마이 리틀 텔레비전>을 분석하였다. 두 프로그램의 방송 포맷과 포맷의 특징들은 어떻게 나타나며, 그 특징들이 지상파 방송에 어떠한 영향을 주게 되었는지를 중심으로 기술한다. 두 프로그램을 비교 분석한 결과 유사한 특징 중 하나로는 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션을 말 할 수 있다. 일방향성에서 벗어나 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션의 형식을 취한 것은 두 방송에 가장 중요하고 큰 역할이다. 출연진만으로 구성되어 방송이 진행되는 것이 아닌 시청자의 참여가 있어야만 방송이 진행된다는 점이다. 또한 생방송으로 이루어지며, 무편집으로 방송은 계속 진행된다. 이렇게 인터넷 방송에까지 영향을 받은 지상파 방송은 창의력이 실종되고 부재되었다고 말 할 수 있다. 이전에 지상파 방송국이 끼쳤던 영향력은 감소되었으며 종합편성채널과 케이블채널 그리고 인터넷 방송에까지 경쟁은 심화되었다고 볼 수 있다.

In terms of organization and production, these two broadcasts have numerous similarities. Terrestrial broadcasters have dominated the market since they started. The cable stations were not competitive or influential enough. However, with the emergence of comprehensive channels, along with development of cable channels, and even broadcasting platforms, terrestrial broadcasting stations are starting to lose their place in the market. As a result, terrestrial broadcasting networks adopted format of popular programs and developed similar programs. When MBC's <I'm a singer> became a big hit, KBS presented <Immortal Songs> and SBS produced <K Pop Star> with similar format. Also, on the cable tvN, when the entertainment program called "Grandpas over flowers' gained popularity, KBS produced a similar entertainment program called <Mamado>. Furthermore, they even produced programs based on internet broadcasting, that is considered minor culture. An exemple of it is <My Little Television>. Therefore, this study analyzed <My Little Television>, which was influenced by <Afreeca TV>. This study examines how the characteristics of broadcasting formats of both programs are influenced by terrestrial broadcasting. One of the similarities between the two programs is the interactive communication. Taking the form of two-way communication with viewer participation is the most important and major for both broadcasts. Instead of the program being composed only of cast members, it requires viewer's participation. It is also broadcast live, and broadcasting continues without editing. The terrestrial broadcasts influenced by internet broadcasting can be said to have lost their creativity.
