본 연구는 문법 학습에 있어 효율성과 유창성을 강조하는 동시에 정확성도 보장해야 한다는 의미에서 기본문형을 도입하여 기존에 보편적으로 교육해 온 표현문형과 결합해서 교육시키고... 본 연구는 문법 학습에 있어 효율성과 유창성을 강조하는 동시에 정확성도 보장해야 한다는 의미에서 기본문형을 도입하여 기존에 보편적으로 교육해 온 표현문형과 결합해서 교육시키고자 함에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국어 교육용 기본문형을 설정·분류 한 후에 기본문형 교육 계획표, 교육 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 교수방안을 제시했다. 의사소통 능력을 중요시하는 한국어 문법 교육 현장에서는 표현문형을 위주로 문법을 교육시키고 있다. 이러한 표현문형은 한국어 학습, 특히 단기간 안에 학습자의 구어능력을 향상하는 데에 장점이 있다. 하지만 진학이나 취업 등 학문적 목적을 가지고 있는 학습자들에게는 우수한 쓰기 능력도 없어서 안 되는 부분이다. 쓰기는 말하기와 다르게 정확성이 가장 중요하다. 기존의 표형문형으로만 구성된 문법 교육에 기본문형 교육을 더하여 유창성과 정확성을 동시에 보장해야 한다. 문법 형태소들이 덩어리식으로 구성되는 표현문형과 다르게 기본문형은 상대적으로 추상적이고 접근성이 떨어진다. 따라서 근래 의사소통 능력을 강조하는 한국어 교육은 표현문형을 위주로 문형 교육을 진행한다. 하지만 본 연구에서는 기본문형 역시 표현문형 못지않게 상당히 중요한 의미를 가지고 있음을 강조하고자 했다. 또한 결합가 이론을 도입하면 초급 수준의 학습자들도 문형을 충분히 쉽게 이해하고 접근할 수 있다는 점을 강조하고자 했다. 한국어 기본문형 교육은 그 중요성에 비해서 많은 관심을 받지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국어 기본문형 교육의 가치를 밝히고 표현문형의 효율성을 유지하는 것을 전제로 기본문형을 도입하여 정확성까지 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 우선 기본문형에 관한 선행연구들을 살펴본 다음에 기본문형의 정의, 현재 한국어 기본문형 교육의 현황, 교육적 필요성에 대하여 논의하였다. 그 후 한국어 교재 분석을 통해 한국어 교재 기본문형 제시 현황과 각 교재에서 공통적으로 높은 빈도를 보이는 13개의 문형을 제시하였다. 또한 본 연구 교육방안의 기초자료로서 각 교재에서 기본문형과 결합한 표현문형 양상, 각 문형의 의미역, 서술어 목록까지 정리하였다. 이를 바탕으로 각 한국어 교재에서 공통적으로 많이 나타나는 기본문형을 본 연구의 교육 대상으로 선정하고 결합가 이론을 바탕으로 분류한 다음에 각 문형의 의미역에 맞는 주제와 교재에서 결합 빈도가 높은 표현문형과 서술어를 선정한 후 기본문형 교육 계획표를 구성하였다. 이러한 교육 계획표에 근거하여 구체적인 설명과 다양한 연습활동으로 구성된 교수방안을 제시했다. 본 연구는 기존 연구와 다르게 표현문형과 결합할 수 있는 기본문형 교육 방안을 제시한 점에서 의미가 있다. 기본문형은 표현문형을 뒷받침함으로써 학습자들이 효율성 있게 한국어로 의사소통을 함과 동시에 정확성을 보장한다. 기존의 연구들은 대부분 표현문형과 기본문형 중 한 쪽에 치우쳐 있었지만 본 연구에서는 이 두 종류의 문형을 결합시켜 교육 방안을 제시했다.

Abstract The Study on the Education of Korean Basic Sentence Patterns This study is aimed to teach the basic sentence patterns by combining the patterns which have been taught generally in the sense that efficiency, fluency and accuracy should be guaranteed in the grammar study. For this, in this study, basic sentence patterns for Korean education were decided and classified and the teaching schedule and teaching plans that can be applied to the education field were proposed. In the Korean grammar education field that emphasizes communicative ability, grammars are taught focusing on expression grammaticalform. These expression grammaticalform have advantage in the improvement of Korean learning, especially the improvement of the learners’ oral ability in a short time. However, for the learners who have the goal to study further or find a job, they should also have excellent ability of writing. Writing, unlike speaking, lays stress on the accuracy. In the grammar education consisting of existing expression grammaticalform, plus basic sentence patterns education, fluency and accuracy should be guaranteed. Unlike expression grammaticalform of which grammatical morphemes are composed in chunks, basic sentence patterns are relatively abstract and not easy to access. Accordingly, the Korean education which emphasizes communicative ability recently conducts pattern education focusing on the expression grammaticalform. However, in this study, that basic sentence patterns are as important as the expression grammaticalformis being highlighted. In addition, it is also emphasized that valency theory was introduced so that the learners in the elementary level also can understand the sentence patterns easily and fully. Compared to its importance, Korean basic sentence patter education hasn’t received as much attention as it should. Accordingly, in this study, the value of basic sentence pattern education was revealed and plan that not only the efficiency can be maintained, but also the accuracy can be improved by introducing the basic sentence patterns in the education were also proposed. In this study, first of all, after reviewing the previous study related to basic sentence patters, the definition of basic sentence patters, the current situation of Korean basic sentence pattern education and the educational necessity were discussed. Next, through Korean textbooks analysis, the current situation of the presentation of basic sentence patterns in the Korean textbooks and 13 patterns that have the same high frequency in each textbook were proposed. Furthermore, as the basic data of the teaching plan of this study, the aspect of the patterns combining basic sentence patterns and expression grammaticalform, the semantic roles of each pattern and the predicate inventory were summarized. Unlike other existing studies, this study is significant that teaching plan for basic sentence patterns that can be combined with the expression grammaticalform was proposed. Basic sentence patterns can help the learners communicate in Korean with high efficiency by backing up the expression grammaticalform and also guarantee the accuracy. Existing studies learn to either expression grammaticalform or basic sentence pattern, but this study proposed a teaching plan that combines both of them.
