현재 한국은 중도입국청소년들이 빠르게 늘어나고 있는 상황이다. 중도입국청소년들은 먼저 한국에 온 어머니와 함께 생활하기 위해서, 중도에 입국한 청소년을 말한다. 중도입국청소년들... 현재 한국은 중도입국청소년들이 빠르게 늘어나고 있는 상황이다. 중도입국청소년들은 먼저 한국에 온 어머니와 함께 생활하기 위해서, 중도에 입국한 청소년을 말한다. 중도입국청소년들이 한국에서 생활하는 것 중 가장 중요한 부분은 의사소통이다. 하지만 중도에 입국한 청소년들은 의사소통이 바로 원활하게 이루어질 수 없는 것이 현실이다. 이로 인하여 중도입국청소년들의 한국생활은 여러 면에서 힘든 상태가 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 정규학교 및 각 지역의 기관에서 중도입국청소년들에게 한국어를 교육하고 있지만 사실 많은 어려움이 동반되고 있는 상황이다. 왜냐하면 중도입국청소년을 위한 한국어 교재의 미흡함 때문이다. 대표적인 교재의 미흡함은 ‘중, 고등학생을 위한 표준 한국어’ 1,2 권에서 확인되었다. 무엇보다 중도입국청소년들이 한국생활에 적응하기 위해서 가장 중요한 부분은 교재를 통한 올바른 한국어 교육이다. 또한 다른 문화권에서의 생활은 중도입국청소년들에게 많은 어려움으로 나타날 것이다. 이와 같은 현실임에도 그들을 위한 교재 선별이 부족한 것으로 확인된다. 본 연구에서는 중도입국청소년들에게 맞춘 한국어교육에 대한 필요성을 자각하여 ‘중, 고등학생을 위한 표준 한국어’ 1,2 권을 분석하였다. 그리고 외적, 내적 구성을 분석, 평가하므로 문제점을 파악하였다. 마지막으로 교재에서 부족한 영역을 중도입국청소년들에게 도움을 주기 위해 교수요목을 정리하여 제시하며 논문을 마무리 하였다. 주제어: 중도입국청소년, 표준한국어, 정규학교, 영역별, 교육, 교재, 구성, 문제
The number of immigrant youths has dramatically increased under the current state in South Korea. For immigrant youths in South Korea, it is of utmost importance for them to communicate with Koreans. However, they cannot communicate in Korean as soon as they immigrate to the country. Accordingly, it is difficult for them to live in South Korea in many ways due to poor communication. To solve the above-mentioned problem, immigrant youths are learning Korean at many regular schools and local organizations in South Korea. However, in fact, there are many difficulties in their education, because Korean language textbooks for immigrant youths are insufficient. The prominent insufficiency of textbooks is found from the 'Standard Korean Language Textbook for middle and high school students with multi-cultural background' I and II. First of all, it is most important for immigrant youths to learn Korean correctly through textbooks to adapt to Korean life. In addition, immigrant youths may feel many difficulties about the culture of another country. Despite those circumstances, it is hard to select Korean language textbooks for them. Considering that Korean language education reasonable for immigrant youths was needed, this study analyzed the 'Standard Korean Language Textbook for middle and high school students with multi-cultural background' I and II. In the study, the problems of the above textbooks were found by analyzing and evaluating their internal and external composition. Finally, in the areas where the textbooks were insufficient, a syllabus was made up to give assistance to immigrant youths in the study.
