본 논문은 무역 분야에 종사하는 일본인 전문직 근로자를 대상으로 직무 수행 시에 필요한 무역 분야 전문 어휘 선정에 그 목적이 있다.
한국과 일본은 정치, 경제, 문화 등 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있으며, 한국의 제2의 무역교역국으로 교역의 규모도 매년 증하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 현재 일본에는 60여 개의 이상의 한국 무역 회사가 직접 투자 형식으로 진출하였고, 한국에도 30여 개 이상의 일본 무역 회사가 진출하였다. 이러한 과정에서 한국어는 무역 분야의 일본인 전문직 인력에게 있어 비즈니스 언어로서 사용 요구가 높은 언어 중에 하나라고 할 수 있다. 이처럼 무역 분야에서 일본인 전문 인력은 한국 무역 산업의 중요한 구성원으로 자리매김 하고 있다. 이들을 대상으로 실제 직무에서 직접 사용할 수 있는 무역 전문 어휘를 선정 하고자 한다.
이를 위해 1장에서는 본 연구의 목적과 필요성을 밝히고 직업 목적 한국어 교육의 선행 연구들을 직업 목적 한국어 교육과 직업 목적 한국어 어휘 선정 연구로 분류하여 검토하였다.
2장에서는 논의의 방향과 범위를 명확하게 하기 위하여 직업 목적 한국어 교육의 개념을 살펴보고, 직업 목적의 전문 어휘 선정 연구에 이론적 기초가 되는 직업 목적의 기본 어휘와 직업 목적 전문 어휘의 개념을 정의하였다. 그리고 직업 목적의 전문 어휘의 학습 대상을 선정하고, 전문 어휘 교육의 필요성에 대해 논의 하였다. 직업 목적의 전문 어휘 선정 연구의 어휘 선정을 위한 방법론으로 어휘 선정의 일반적인 방법 중 객관적 방법과 주관적 방법을 절충한 종합적 방법을 택하였다.
3장에서는 직업 목적 전문 어휘 선정을 위한 요구분석을 실시하였다. 먼저 본 연구의 대상인 일본인 전문직 근로자를 상대로 한국어의 필요성과 한국어를 사용하여 직무 시 애로사항에 대하여 요구조사를 실시하였다. 조사 대상자들의 요구 조사 결과를 분류해 정리하고 일본인 근로자의 입장에서 직무에서의 의사소통적 상황과 한국어로 직장 내에서 수행하고자 하는 기능적 요구들을 파악하였다. 그리고 무역 분야의 전문 어휘 선정 기준을 언급한 뒤 전체적인 연구 절차를 수립하여 진행 하였다. 무역 분야의 전문 어휘를 선정하기 위해 텍스트를 선정하고 실제 무역 회사의 이메일을 토대로 말뭉치를 구축하였다. 그리고 말뭉치의 형태소를 분석한 뒤 수정 및 교정 작업을 거쳐 고빈도 순의 어휘를 추출하였다. 고빈도의 어휘 목록에서 전문적인 개념을 갖는 어휘를 추출하고자 일반 목적 한국어 기본 어휘를 제거하였다. 이를 바탕으로 선정된 어휘 중 평균 빈도(30회) 이상 출현 한 어휘들을 전문 어휘로 선정하였다. 선정된 어휘를 무역 분야 전문가들의 의견을 수렴하여 어휘의 중요도 판정을 실시하였다.
4장에서는 직업 목적을 위한 무역 분야 전문 어휘를 선정하였으며, 빈도와 등급별로 어휘를 목록화 하였다. 또한 무역 분야 전문 어휘를 어종별, 업무별로 세분화 하여 그 특징을 살펴보았다.
마지막으로 5장에서는 직업 목적 전문 어휘 선정 연구를 종합적으로 제시 하며 연구의 의의와 한계를 밝히고 후속 연구를 위한 제언으로 마무리하였다.

The purpose of this thesis is to select professional terminologies required for trade occupations targeting Japanese professionals in trade.
Korea and Japan are closely related in terms of politics, economics, culture, etc and the trade volume with Japan is increasing every year as the 2nd largest trading country in the world. In addition, currently in Japan, there are more than 60 Korean trading companies in the form of direct investment and more than 30 Japanese trading companies are in Korea as well. In this sense, Korean is one of the most frequently-used languages for Japanese professionals in trade. Japanese professionals have become important members in Korean trading industry. Therefore, professional trade terminologies should be selected that Japanese professionals can use in the field.
In chapter 1, the purpose and necessity of this study are introduced and preceding studies on Korean language education are reviewed by being classified into occupational-purpose Korean language education and Korean terminology selection studies.
In chapter 2, in order to clarify the direction and scope of the discussion, the concept of Korean language education is examined and the concept of occupational-purpose basic terminologies and professional terminologies is defined which could be the theoretic basis for occupational-purpose professional terminology selection study. And the subjects were selected to learn occupational-purpose professional terminologies and the necessity of the education is discussed. As the methodology for occupational-purpose professional terminology selection study, integrative method compromising both objective and subjective methods is selected among generic methodologies.
In chapter 3, demand analysis was conducted on occupational-purpose professional terminology selection. First of all, a survey was conducted to the Japanese professionals, the research subjects, to identify their necessities and difficulties when using Korean in their occupations. The results of demand analysis were classified and organized to identify communicational situations that Japanese employees confront in their occupations and their functional demands when using Korean in their jobs. After that, the standards for selecting professional trade terminologies were introduced and study procedure was established to conduct the research. In order to select professional trade terminologies, text was selected and corpus was set based on the business e-mails that are used in actual trading companies. After analyzing the morpheme of the corpus, terminologies with high frequency was extracted after modification and correction process. Among the terminologies with high frequency, general-purpose Korean words are eliminated to extract terminologies with professional concepts. After this process, terminologies with average frequency of more than 30 times are selected as professional terminologies. The selected terminologies are sent to professionals in trade to determine the importance of the terminologies.
In chapter 4, occupational-purpose professional trade terminologies were selected and the terminologies are cataloged by the frequency and grade. In addition, the professional trade terminologies are classified by word types and jobs to examine their characteristics.
Lastly in chapter 5, overview of occupational-purpose professional terminologies was proposed to state the significance and limitation of the study and proposals on succeeding studies.
