본 연구는 여성결혼이민자용 한국어교재를 분석하여 그들의 요구조사를 바탕으로 여성결혼이민자를 위한 보다 효율적인 한국어 쓰기교재 개발 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.
1장에서는 여성결혼이민자를 대상으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교재 개발 연구의 목적과 필요성에 대해 서술하고 선행연구를 검토하였다. 선행연구 검토에서는 먼저 여성결혼이민자의 현황에 대한 연구를 살펴보고 다음 이들을 위한 한국어 교육에 관한 연구와 현재 여성결혼이민자를 대상으로 한 쓰기 교육에 관한 연구를 살펴보았다.
Ⅱ장에서는 여성결혼이민자를 위한 한국어 교육의 전반적인 현황을 살펴보고 이들을 대상으로 한 대표적인 한국어 교재를 분석하였다. 분석 내용은 여성결혼이민자를 위한 한국어 교육이 다양화되고 있는 현 시점에서 쓰기 영역과 관련한 학습 내용과 문제점을 짚어보았다. 이는 현재 대부분 보급되고 있는 한국어 교재의 쓰기 구성과 내용이 그들이 실질적으로 요구하고 필요로 하는 쓰기 내용을 비교, 분석하여 교수요목 개발 방안을 마련하기 위해서였다.
Ⅲ장에서는 실제 여성결혼이민자들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 그 결과를 분석하였고 또한 이러한 학습자의 요구 조사를 바탕으로 한국어 쓰기 교육에 대한 그들의 한국어 학습 목적과 목표를 구체화시키고자 하였다. 나아가 그들이 실제로 필요하고 요구하는 바에 맞도록 한국어 쓰기교육, 특히 쓰기교재의 내용 및 방향을 개선할 수 있도록 실질적인 방안을 모색하였다.
Ⅳ장에서는 이상에서 논의한 내용을 바탕으로 여성 결혼이민자를 대상으로 한 한국어 쓰기 교재 개발 원리를 제시한 후 쓰기 교재의 교육내용 및 교수요목을 구체적으로 설정하고 단원 구성 모형의 실제를 제시하였다.
이 연구는 설문조사를 경기 지역에 거주하는 여성결혼이민자를 대상으로 한정하였다는 점이 한계점으로 지적될 수 있다. 향후 여성결혼이민자를 대상으로 한 쓰기 교육에 관한 연구는 연구 범위 및 연구 대상을 더욱 광범위하게 확대하여야 한다. 그러면 질적 신뢰도와 타당도를 증진시키고 여성결혼이민자들의 의사소통 능력뿐만 아니라 문어적 능력도 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this research is to propose the improvement of Korean writing textbooks which can improve the writing ability and meet the need for the female marriage immigrant.
In chapter1, it described the purpose and necessity of the research on improvement of Korean writing textbooks for female marriage immigrant. At first, I introduced the research on the real state of female marriage immigrant, and then, we had a look at the overall research on the Korean language education, at last, I introduced the research on the writing education for the female marriage immigrant at present.
In chapter2, I introduced the present situation of the Korean language education for the female marriage immigrant and analyzed the Korean language textbooks. It came to a conclusion that the Korean language education for the female marriage immigrant is diversifying, from this point of view we can see the problems of the writing and some problems related to it. In order to get the concrete syllabus development plan, I made a comparison from the writing contents in the textbooks and the writing contents which they really need and feel necessary in their actual lives, analyzed it.
In Chapter3, an investigation was conducted on the female marriage immigrant and according to the investigation, the requirement of the learners, the aims and objective of Korean language writing education was fleshed out. Furthermore, according to the actual requirement, we can see that it is more important to find the right way than to improve the contents or directions of the
Korean language education, especially the textbooks.
In Chapter4,, I proposed the improvement principle of Korean writing textbooks for the female marriage immigrant, set up the contents of the textbooks and proposed the unit structure model. The disadvantage of this research is that the questionnaires were limited on the female marriage immigrant who live in Gyeonggi area. Henceforward, I expect to see the Korean writing systematization be established that can promote the reliability and validity, not only the communication ability but also the writing ability of the female marriage immigrant.
