본 연구는 『결혼이민자과 함께하는 한국어』 1-4단계를 젠더적 관점으로 분석하여, 향후 개발되어질 교재가 여성을 차별하지 않고, 여성결혼이민자를 ‘타자화’ 하지 않는 교재로 개발되... 본 연구는 『결혼이민자과 함께하는 한국어』 1-4단계를 젠더적 관점으로 분석하여, 향후 개발되어질 교재가 여성을 차별하지 않고, 여성결혼이민자를 ‘타자화’ 하지 않는 교재로 개발되어질 수 있도록 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교재 안에 여성의 이미지가 어떻게 묘사되어 있는지에 대한 연구문제를 설정한 후 이를 해결하기 위해 집필진의 성별 구성분포, 교재, 삽화 속 남, 여의 특징으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 삽화에서는 등장인물의 수, 직업, 주요활동 및 동사, 등장 장소, 여성결혼이민자 출신국가를, 대화문에서는 주요 등장인물 직업, 첫 발화자 및 의사결정 주도권자, 가족형태, 부부대화 모습을 분석하였고, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남성 집필진보다 여성 집필진의 숫자가 많았으나 전통적인 남, 여의 성역할 고정관념이 나타난 남성중심으로 교재가 편찬되어졌다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 삽화에서 여성의 등장인물 수가 남성보다 높게 나타났으나 직업을 가진 여성의 비율은 남성보다 훨씬 적었다. 특히 대부분의 여성이 전업주부였고, 남성은 의사, 여성은 간호사로 직업에 따른 지배직종의 모습도 나타났다. 등장인물의 등장 장소와 활동에서 남성은 공적 영역인 회사에서 일하는 모습, 여성은 사적 영역인 가정에서 가사와 육아를 전담하는 모습으로 나타나 성역할 고정관념이 두드러졌다. 교재 전반에 등장하는 여성결혼이민자 4명 중 3명이 동남아 여성으로 대부분의 여성결혼이민자는 동남아인이라는 편견을 심어줄 수 있는 여지가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대화문에서 대화의 첫발화자 및 의사결정 주도권자의 비율은 여성보다 남성이 높게 나타났고, 1, 2, 3세대의 다양한 가족 형태의 모습을 제시하고 있으나 재혼가정, 한부모, 조손가정의 모습은 찾아볼 수 없었다. 또한 부부대화 시 남편이 아내를 잔소리꾼으로 유형화하거나 훈계하고 가르치는 대화에서 성차별적 언어가 나타났음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 종합해 보면, 『결혼이민자과 함께하는 한국어 교재』 네 권 모두 안에서 성차별적 요소가 내포되어 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다 .

This research is an analysis of stages 1-4 of the 「Korean with Marriage-based Immigrants」 from a gender point of view and its purpose is to provide the basic information to publish a textbook that does not bias females and ‘discriminate’ the female marriage-based immigrants. In order to accomplish such purpose and to enhance the understanding of the female image, the analysis was done by separating the following characteristics: writer‘s gender, males and females within illustration and texts. Within the conversation section, analysis was done on the main character’s occupations, the first speaker and the decision maker, different types of family, reflection of the communication between husband and wife and within the illustration, the analysis was done on the frequency of the appearance of characters, occupations, main activity and its analysis, appearing location, female marriage-based immigrant‘s state of origin and the results are as follow: Firstly, there were more male writers than females writers but we were able to realize that the textbook was male focused showing the traditional male and female gender role stereotypes. Secondly, within the illustration there were higher proportion of female appearances compared to males and there were a much lower proportion of females with jobs than males. Most of the females were housewives and dominant jobs were illustrated where the males where doctors and females were nurses. Within the characters and appearing locations and activities, males appeared in public places such as at their place of work and females appeared in private places such as their home and taking caring of the housework and their children, clearly illustrating the stereotype within gender roles. 4 out of 3 female marriage-based immigrants who appear in the first half of the textbook were from South-East Asia and therefore there was room for creation of stereotype that most female marriage-based immigrants are from South-East Asia. Thirdly, within the conversation section, there was a larger proportion of male first speakers and decisions makers than females and although it illustrates variety types of family in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd generations, we were not able to find anything on families with remarried couples, single-parents or grandparents raising the children. In addition, there were sexist language within the textbook where during a conversation between a husband and wife, the husband accused the wife of being a nitpicker and tried to discipline and teach her. By piecing together the results of the research, we were able to identify that all four 「Korean with Marriage-based immigrants」 textbooks contain gender bias factors. ，韩语论文题目，韩语论文题目 |
