본 연구는 한국어 구어체에서 자주 나타나는 연결어미가 항상 문장을 끝맺는 현상을 '종결기능 연결어미'라고 규정하고, 이런 현상이 한국어 학습자 일상생활에서 구어 능력을 높이기 위해 어미들의 화용적 의미를 분석함으로써 대중 매체 중에 대표적인 Tv 드라마를 활용하여 한국어 학습자들에 적용할 수 있는 교육 방안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이는 한국어 학습자들이 다시 실제 언어생활에 돌아오고 한국어 모어 화자들의 심리적 태도를 인지하고 의사소통을 효율적으로 진행할 수 있도록 하기 위함이다.
각 장의 내용을 구체적으로 살펴보면 1장에서는 본 연구의 목적과 연구 방법을 제시하고, 종결기능 연결어미의 국어학과 한국어 교육학 두 가지 영역에 대한 선행 연구를 검토하였다.
2장에서는 한국어 교육 학습용 종결기능 연결어미를 선정하기 위해 우선 이들에 대한 개념과 선정 기준을 다시 규정하고 살펴보았다. 종결기능 연결어미의 개념은 1장의 선행 연구를 바탕으로 다시 규정하였고, 선정 기준도 형태·통사론과 화용론을 결합하여 더 깊이 있게 보완하였다. 또한 이런 교육 학습용 목록을 만들기 위해 1차 선정, 2차 선정으로 나누어 진행하기로 하였다. 그리고 종결기능 연결어미의 교육 필요성이 주로 선행 연구에서 한국어 교재와 여러 가지 구어 자료로 된 말뭉치를 활용하여 그 사용 빈도에 대한 분석 결과를 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 그 필요성을 제시하였다.
3장에서는 한국어 모어 화자들의 사용 양상을 살펴보기 위해 준 구어 자료인 TV 드라마 대본을 중심으로 두었다. 이는 살펴보기 전에 한국어 학습에 적용할 수 있는 드라마는 선정 기준에 따라 뽑았으며, 그들의 사용 빈도를 측정하는 SyKDP1.55(깜짝색)과 글잡이Ⅱ(색인)을 활용하였다. 또한 드라마에서 나타난 종결기능 연결어미에 대한 사용 빈도를 살펴보았다. 그 다음에 분석한 결과를 바탕으로 각 어미는 다양한 대화 상황에서 해당되는 화용적 의미를 발화 자료를 통해 분석하였다.
4장에서는 드라마를 활용한 교육 방안이기 때문에 우선 드라마를 편집하고 수업을 통제할 수 있는 캠타시아 스튜디오(Camtasia studio) 프로그램에 대한 교육적 가치를 소개하였다. 그 다음에 담화·화용적 측면에 접근하여 한국어 수업에 적용할 수 있는 I-I-I 방법론을 도입하였다. 따라서 3장에서 빈도가 높고 화용적 의미도 상대적으로 다양한 '-는데'를 선택하여 교육 방안을 제시하였다.

Connective endings that appear frequently in native Korean's communicat
ions is a phenomenon to end a sentence can be called “connective endings functioning as final endings”. By using the typical TV drama to analyze the pragmatic meaning of final endings this study will present an education plan that can be applied to the Korean learners, which will be help to raise speaking skills in everyday life. This is to help Korean learners to come back to the real language life and help them to re-recognize the psychological attitude of the native speakers while communicate effectively.
Chapter 1 presents the purpose and methods of the study, and reviews the previous research of connective endings functioning as final endings on Korean Language and Korean Education areas.
In Chapter 2, in order to select connective endings functioning as final endings learning, the study defined the concepts and regulated the standard first. The concept of connective endings functioning as final endings was prescribed on the basis of previous research in Chapter 1. The standard of selection, which combines the Morpho-syntax and pragmatics, complemented the topic further. In addition, to make the learning content, the first selection was made and then into the second selection. To recognize the necessity of studying connective endings functioning as final endings, the study looked at the usage of frequency in previous studies on Korean language textbook and several materials on spoken language by corpus.
In Chapter 3, for the purpose to examine how the native speakers use the connective endings functioning as final endings, the study used program ‘글잡이 II’ and SyKDP1.5 to measure the frequency they are used in the chosen TV drama. Some social factors like gender and age are also considered when analyze the frequency of use one drama by other. Based on the analysis results the study analyzed the pragmatic meaning of each final endings in different dialog situations by speech data.
As the education plan is base on the practical use of drama, in Chapter 4, a program called Camtasia studio will be introduced first, by which we can edit the drama and control the class. Then, by accessing the speech pragmatic terms, I-I-I methodology that can be applied to Korean language class will be introduced. Therefore, with the result presented in Chapter 3, ‘-는데’ was chosen because of its high frequency and various pragmatic meaning and a education plan on it will be presented out.
