The author has discussed color terminology of English and Korean with a special reference to five basic colors ‘black', 'white', 'red', 'yellow', ‘blue'in three aspects such as its basic concepts and characteristics, its comparative analysis, and its teaching method for foreign students learning Korean. What is common in two languages is that color terms represent not only referential meaning for color itself, but also contain multiple dimensions such as emotion, attitude, and economics, etc. However, it has been revealed that Korean color terms are differentiated by binary opposition of lenis and fortis sounds, Yang and Yin vowels, and are able to express various color shades by negative and positive feeling, light and darkness. On the contrary English color terms are realized in somewhat restricted areas. The effective teaching process of color terms for foreign students are presented as five stages according to those of TOPIK. They are as follows: teaching color terms using color cards and using songs, learning color terms in literary works and through metaphor, and finally exercises. The present author sincerely hope that this will be helpful for foreign students eager to learn Korean to understand color terms in easier way and lead a comfortable and correct language life of Korean.
본 연구는 기본 5가지 색인 ‘흑(黑)’, ‘백(白)’, ‘적(赤)’, ‘황(黃)’, ‘청(靑)’를 중심으로 기본 색채어의 개념과 특성 및 한·영의 색채어 비교·분석하여 영어권 국가의 한국어 학습... 본 연구는 기본 5가지 색인 ‘흑(黑)’, ‘백(白)’, ‘적(赤)’, ‘황(黃)’, ‘청(靑)’를 중심으로 기본 색채어의 개념과 특성 및 한·영의 색채어 비교·분석하여 영어권 국가의 한국어 학습자들에게 효과적으로 한국어 색채어를 이해하고 사용하고자 한다. 색채어는 단지 색만 나타내는 수단이 아니라 한 민족의 문화·사회상을 반영하고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이렇듯 한국인에 있어 한국어의 색채어는 색을 나타내는 것뿐 만아니라, 감정 또는 우리의 의식주 모든 방면에 있어 여러 가지 표현으로 분화되어 나타난다. 그렇기에 외국인 학습자들이 색채어를 배울 때에 어려움이 많기에 색채어를 좀 더 쉽게 배우는 교육 방안을 제시한다. 먼저, 색채어의 개념과 특성을 밝힌 후에 한·영 기본 색채어의 범주에 대하여 비교하여 살펴본 후, 각각 정리하여 교육 단계별로 적용한다. 기본적인 색채어는 초급 단계에서는 거의 그대로 적용이 됨을 밝혔고, 중급이나 고급 단계에서는 비유적인 표현이 많으므로 영어로 번역할 때 그대로 적용이 되지 않는다는 것을 살펴보았다. 이처럼 한국어의 색채어는 다양한 표현으로 분화되어 나타나기에, 한국어를 학습하는 영어권 한국어 학습자들에게는 다소 생소하게 비춰질 수도 있다. 그렇기에 영어권 한국어 학습자가 한국어 색채어를 학습할 때에는 기본적인 색채어를 충분히 익히게 한 후, 여러 학습 모형을 통하여 한국어 색채어를 익히도록 함에 있다. ，免费韩语论文，韩语论文 |
