본 연구는 파키스탄 이슬람계 초급 단계 한국어 학습자를 위한 한국문 화 교육 방안을 모색하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 오늘날 한국문화 교육은 국내(한국)뿐만 아니라 국외 여러 나라에서 활... 본 연구는 파키스탄 이슬람계 초급 단계 한국어 학습자를 위한 한국문 화 교육 방안을 모색하는 데에 목적을 두었다. 오늘날 한국문화 교육은 국내(한국)뿐만 아니라 국외 여러 나라에서 활발하게 이루어지고 있으나, 파키스탄 이슬람계 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국문화 교육 연구는 아직 많이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 한국문화와 관련된 선행연구와 이슬람계 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국문화 교육에 관한 선행연구를 살펴보았다. 또한 이슬람 계 문화와 한국문화 사이에 존재하는 의사소통 요인을 분석하고, 사례 연 구를 통해 문화간 의사소통 능력을 키울 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 또한 파키스탄 너믈대학교(National University of Modern Language) 내 한국어학과의 한국문화 교육 현황과 한계를 살펴보았고 파키스탄 내에서 사용되고 있는 한국어 교재의 한국문화 교육의 항목을 분석하였다. 이와 함께 본 연구에서는 파키스탄 내에 있는 한국어 교육자 및 학습자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 설문 결과를 바탕으로 한국 문화 교육의 시사점을 제시하였다. 특히 본 연구에서 적용한 세 가지 연구 방법을 통해 도출된 결과로 파 키스탄 이슬람계 학습자를 위한 한국문화 교육의 방안을 모색하였다. 구 체적으로 이슬람계 학습자를 위한 한국문화 교육의 목표를 설정하고 문화 요소를 선정하여 학습단계별로 배열해 보았다. 문화 요소의 선정 및 배열 의 기준으로는 문화간 의사소통 과정에서 발생하는 문화충격을 줄이는 데에 큰 도움이 되는 문화 요소를 초급에, 한국 사회와 문화에 대한 이해의 수준을 높일 수 있는 것을 중급과 고급에 배열하였다. 아울러 이 연구에서는 파키스탄 이슬람계 초급 단계 한국어 학습자가 접근하기 쉬운 한국문화 요소를 선정하였다. 나아가 기존 선행연구, 교재 분석 및 교육자와 학습자의 요구분석을 바탕으로 하여 이슬람계 학습자를 대상으로 하는 한국문화 교육의 방법과 자료를 개발하였다. 마지막으로 이상의 연구 과정을 바탕으로 하여 파키스탄의 이슬람계 초급 단계 한국 어 학습자를 위한 한국문화 교육에 적용할 수 있는 실제 교수 학습 모델 을 제시하였다.

The aim of this research was to find an efficient way of teaching Korean culture to the beginner level of Muslim students of Pakistan, Recently, Korean culture education is not only being taught in Korea, but also in many other countries including Pakistan, but preceding research studies on Korean culture education for the Muslim students of Pakistan was still meager. So, in this research, I reviewed some previous work on the Korean culture of Korean generals and Korean culture related studies for the Muslim students of other countries. Moreover, I analysed the communication factors between Korean and Muslim cultures and found out a way of nourishing intercultural communication skills between two cultures by examining background case studies. Also, I examined the present conditions and obstacles of teaching Korean culture to the Muslim students in the Korean language department of NUML(National University of Modern Languages) university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. I analysed Korean culture items from the Korean language books, which are being taught to the Muslim students in Pakistan. Additionally, I conducted a questionnaire survey to find the factors which are the real obstacles in teaching Korean language and also presented some suggestions on teaching Korean culture to the Muslim students of Pakistan, based on the result of questionnaire survey. Particularly, I suggested a route of teaching Korean culture to the Muslim students of Pakistan based on the result of three research methods presented in this. In concrete terms, I set up a goal of teaching Korea culture to the Muslim students by selecting some appropriate Korean culture items and organizing them in to different levels. I arranged some Korean culture items for a beginner level Muslim student which would be helpful to reduce the cultural shocks that may occur during the intercultural communication between the people of two respected countries. I also suggested setting the Korean culture items in the intermediate and advance level that could enhance the level of understanding Korean culture and Korean society for Muslim students. Besides this, I selected some appropriate Korean culture items and developed the method and materials of teaching Korean culture to the beginner level of Muslim students of Pakistan, based on the result of background study, analysing Korean language books and investigating the questionnaire survey.
