본 연구는 한국 드라마 및 한국어 교재에서 나타난 감사 화행의 분석을 통해 한국어 감사 화행의 표현 유형, 사용 양상, 한국어 모어 화자의 감사 화행 표현 특징 및 한국어 교재에서 감사 화행의 제시 현황을 알아내고자 한다. 또한 그 결과를 활용해서 한국어 교재 개발 시 감사 화행에 관한 정보를 제공하고 한국어 학습자에게 도움이 될 수 있는 한국어 교재에서의 감사 화행 제시 방안을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다.
사회 문화적인 배경을 바탕으로 이루어지는 화행은 각각의 언어나 문화마다 다른 특성을 가지고 있어서 상황에 알맞도록 적절한 화행을 수행하는 것은 의사소통 능력의 표현이 된다. 감사 화행은 기본적으로 상대방과의 긍정적인 인간관계를 유지하게 하는 화행이다. 대화를 이어가는 중요한 기능을 담당하고 있으므로 한국어에 나타나는 감사 화행의 양상을 살펴보는 것은 한국어 교재 개발 시 감사 화행에 관한 내용을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 더 나아가 학습자에게 한국어와 한국 문화의 특성을 이해하는 바탕이 될 것이며 한국어 모어 화자와의 원활한 의사소통과 좋은 인간관계를 유지하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 한국 드라마 대본 6편 총108회와 한국어 교재 29권을 분석 자료로 삼아, 한국어 감사 화행의 실현 양상과 표현 유형을 살펴본 후 친밀도, 상대적 지위, 성별과 같이 사회적 변인별로 분석함으로 한국어 모어 화자들의 감사 화행 표현 특징과 한국어 교재에서의 감사 화행 제시 현황을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과와 수집된 감사화행을 활용해서 한국어 학습자에게 도움이 된 감사 화행의 제시 방안을 도출하였다.
본 연구는 드라마를 분석 자료로 선택하였지만, 모든 드라마를 분석한 것이 아니라 몇 편의 드라마를 분석했기 때문에 그 결과 해석을 일반화시키는 것에 한계가 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 한계점이 있음에도 불구하고 감사 화행에 관한 정보를 제공하고 향후 한국어 교육에 있어 감사 화행의 교육에 미약하나마 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다.

A Study of Expression Types in the Speech Act of Thanking
through Analysis of Korean Drama Scripts and Textbooks.

The speech acts on the basis of the background of social culture are different from each language and culture. So appropriate speech acts for certain condition become the expression of communication competence. The speech act of thanking keeps the principles of politeness and holds positive human relations. Also it plays the important role to continuous conservation when it comes to the respects from conversational structure. Therefor, examining the expression types of the speech act of thanking is meaningful on approving the communication competence of Korean learner.
This study examines the expression types of the speech act of thanking through analyzing Korean drama scripts and Korean textbooks. The expression types was divided into 4 high types(allow, return, modesty, evasion) and 18 low types(greeting words, cause relationship, expressing joys, compliment, acknowledging by future action, acknowledging the benefit, emphasizing the role of the opposite party, expressing the relief, promising the future action, suggesting other rewards, acknowledging the favors, expressing apology, expressing needlessness, lowering oneself, enhancing the opposite party, modestly declining the contribution, acknowledging the benefits without thanks words, joking). And then suggest how to present the speech act of thanking by conversations in Korean textbooks based on the analysis results. The purpose of this study is providing informations of the speech act of thanking on Korean textbook development and ultimately be meaningful on improving the ability of Korean learners to communicate.
This study did not analyze all dramas but several selected dramas, and the analysis was limited in that the expression types that did not appear were in-depth study. However, it can provide useful information to develop Korean Texts and finally approving the communication competence of Korean Learner.
