‘한류’ 열풍으로 인해 중국 대학에서 한국어를 전공하는 학습자들이 늘어나면서 한국어 교육은 끊임없이 보완, 발전되고 있다. 현재 중국 4년제 대학교에서 한국어가 능통한 전문적인 인재를 양성하는 목표로 진행된 한국어 교육은 주로 듣기, 쓰기, 읽기, 말하기 네 가지 영역으로 나눈다. 그러나 문법번역식 교수법의 영향을 받은 탓에 수업 시간에 교사가 쓰기와 읽기에 치우치고 학습자들이 좋아하는 현대 과학기술과 다매체를 이용하는 듣기와 말하기를 연습할 수 있는 교실을 이루는 데 많은 심혈을 기울이지 않았다. 또한 초급, 중급 듣기 교재의 종류와 수량이 고급 듣기 교재보다 초과하는 것을 보면 고급 듣기 교재 개발의 당위성이 있음을 알 수 있다. 특히 듣기는 학습자가 가장 원어민 수준처럼 가지고 싶은 능력이므로 개선할 수 있는 공간이 더 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 현재 학습자의 적성에 맞고 시대성을 지닌 매체를 활용한 고급 한국어 듣기 교재를 개발하는 데에 있다.
매체를 활용한 고급 한국어 듣기 교재를 개발하기 위해 우선 매체에 대한 정의를 알아보았다. 이와 동시에 한국어 교육에 어울리는 다매체를 같이 살펴보았다. 그 다음에 중국 대학에서 사용하고 있는 고급 듣기 교재에 대해 분석하였다. 교재 분석은 외적과 내적 구성 두 가지 영역으로 나누었다.
매체를 활용한 고급 한국어 듣기 교재의 개발 단계에서 우선 선정한 네 권 교재를 사용자인 중국 대학에 진학한 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 고급 한국어 듣기 교육이나 듣기 교재에 대한 만족도 조사 결과를 분석하였다. 그리고 교재 분석 결과 및 중국인 학습자의 요구조사를 분석하여 듣기 교재의 개발 원리를 도출하였다. 그리고 학습자의 흥미를 유지하고 단계별 듣기 능력을 향상하기 위해서 주제·나선형 종합 교수요목 및 단계별 단원구성의 개발 원리를 확정하였다. 교재 구성은 교수요목과 단원 구성 두 가지 내용으로 나누어 제시하였다. 교수요목 단계에서는 주제 중심 교수요목과 나선형 교수요목을 종합한 교수요목을 선정하였다. 각 영역에서 선정한 대제목은 ‘한국인의 직업과 직장생활’, ‘한·중 우정 오래오래’, ‘생활의 힘-건강’, ‘나라의 힘-경제력’, ‘별에서 온-한류’, ‘전통문화의 향기’, ‘과학과 기술’, ‘환경-인류의 미래’, ‘현대문화의 향기’, ‘한국인의 생활습관과 사고방식’이다. 단원구성에서는 소단원을 Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ단계로 나누어 듣기 능력이 단계별로 점차 늘어나는 것이 보이도록 만들었다. 이러한 구성을 기초로 단계별로 주제와 난이도를 보여주는 듣기 전략과 기능을 훈련시킬 수 있는 듣기 교재의 실제를 제시하였다.

In recent years, along with increased interests in Korean culture, more and more Chinese students are learning Korean in Chinese universities. Korean language education has entered into a rapid development and continuous improvement stage. In today’s Korean language departments of China's four-year universities, Korean language education consists of four fields: listening, writing, reading, and conversing. However, due to the influence of Grammar-Translation Method, the teachers mainly focus on the education of the grammar and reading. They use less multimedia and high-tech hearing and speaking technologies that are favored by students. Moreover, there are numerous types and quantities of primary Korean listening textbooks while there is a dearth of advanced listening textbooks. Thus, it has become evident that additional practical and advanced listening textbooks are urgently needed for advanced Korean language learners. Many advanced learners have stated that their listening goal is 'hoping to achieve the same level as a Korean native'. This indicates that there is a lot of room for improvement in listening education, especially through the use of highly developed contemporary multimedia technologies. For these reasons, the purpose of this study is to develop advanced Korean language listening materials by using contemporary multimedia technologies preferred by students.
In order to develop the listening textbook of Korean language by using multimedia, a definition of multimedia is first established, and then an explanation of which kinds are most suitable for teaching Korean language. Afterwards, this study analyzes the external and internal structures of advanced Korean listening textbooks used in contemporary Chinese universities, and the final results are summarized.
In the development phase of Korean listening textbook, the listening materials and methods previously used in Chinese universities are analyzed. Through these comprehensive investigations and analysis, this study proposes the principles on which to develop an advanced Korean listening textbook, and determines the main topics which maintains students' interest during their different stages of listening study: Screw linear syllabus and stage units as its basic framework. New textbook syllabus and its units are carefully introduced in the description of textbook structure. The new textbook syllabus is a comprehensive curriculum made of subject syllabus and screw linear syllabus. The contents of the textbook consists of: 'Korean career and work life', 'South Korea and China friendship', 'The power of life—health', 'The power of the country—the economy', 'Came from the stars—Korea flow', 'Traditional culture aroma', 'Science and technology', 'Environment—the future of humanity', 'Modern culture aroma', and 'Korean habits and ways of thinking'. This study is further divided into three smaller units: I, II, and III stages, so that students can see their own progress to improve their listening ability. Based on the above materials, this shows how to transform training theme and change training degree of difficulty in order to improving the skills of listening strategies.
