이 논문의 목적은 한국어 교육에서의 문법체계와 국어 교육에서의 문법체계의 비교연구를 통하여 서로의 긴밀성과 차별성을 파악하는데 있다. 이를 통해 현재 국어 문법 체계와 구분되는 한국어 문법 체계의 지점을 명확히 밝히고자 하였다. 이 논문에서는 <외국인을 위한 한국어 문법 1,2>과 <제7차 고등학교 문법>을 연구 대상으로 하여 ① 음운의 변동 ② 품사 ③ 어미 ④ 문장 단원을 중심으로 비교하였다.
<한국어 문법1>은 <고등학교 문법>과 동일한 내용체계를 갖되, 외국어 화자를 교육 대상으로 한다는 점에서 한국어 교육의 특수성을 반영하고 있다. 이를 유형화하면 ① <고등학교 문법>의 문법 체계를 간소화(조사체계, 문장의 구조, 높임법체계)하였으며, ② 문법의 형태에 드러나는 의미에 주목하여 문법 내용 체계를(심리형용사, 주제어, 양태표현) 기술하고 있다. ③ 또한 문법 규칙이 의사소통의 실제적 사용으로 전이 될 수 있도록 배려(발음에 따른 음운 변동의 분류, 종합적인 관점에서 문법 형식을 선정, 의미에 따른 연결어미 분류)하고 있다.
그러나 문법 체계를 간략화하거나 의미중심으로 문법체계를 구성하였을 때 설명할 수 없는 언어현상이 있다. 또한 문법 체계에 관한 지식 없이 여러 의미 중 하나의 의미를 정하여 교육할 때, 학습자에게 혼란을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 ‘의미’와 ‘기능’을 중심으로 교육해야 하는 한국어 교육의 특수성을 반영하면서도 더욱 정밀한 문법체계가 마련되어야 한다. 앞으로 한국어 문법의 체계와 국어 문법의 체계가 서로 같은지 다른지에 관한 논란보다는 무엇이 같고 무엇이 다른지에 관한 구체적인 논의와 서로가 상호보완적으로 발전해 나갈 수 있는 연구가 필요하다.

Purpose of this thesis is grasping each other's closeness and each other's different point through comparative study of the grammar system in Korean education and the grammar system in language education. Through this I wish to make clear at what point of present language grammar system and divided Korean grammar system is at. In this thesis, Korean grammar 1, 2 for foreigners and the high school grammar are compared by ① change of phoneme, ② word class, ③ root word, and ④ sentence unit by research target.
Korean grammar 1 and high school grammar have the same course contents, but are different than the Korean education at a point that makes foreign language speakers the education target.
Classified as follows: ① simplified the grammar system of high school grammar (investigation system, structure of sentence, Nopimbeopchegye). ② The grammar contents system (mind adjective, master control program, brim of Korean hat expression) is describing observed meaning detected in the form of grammar. ③ Grammatical rules may be changed by practical use of communication (in classification of phoneme change by pronunciation, synthetic viewpoint grammar form connection to root word classifications by choice, meaning).
But, using simplified grammar systems or composed grammar systems to understand the central meaning, when inexplicable phenomena of language are found, the learner chooses one meaning among several meanings without knowledge about the grammar system can create confusion for the learner.
More detailed grammar systems should be prepared reflecting the peculiarities of the Korean education system that should put stress on meaning and function for the foreign language speaker.
In conclusion, whether the system of Korean grammar or the system of language grammar are the same or different requires more research that is specific to that discussion. Each can develop as complementary to each other with what is similar and what is different.
