본 연구는 한국어 청유 표현의 의미를 살펴보고 한국어 교재의 청유 표현 제시 양상 분석과 모어 화자와 외국인 학습자의 청유 표현 사용 양상 분석 결과를 바탕으로 외국인 학습자를 위한 한국어 청유 표현 교육 방안을 구안하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
한국어 학습자들은 상대방에게 공동행위를 요구해야 할 상황을 많이 겪게 되는데 이때는 자신의 생각만 표현하는 것이 아니라 상대방의 지위, 나이, 그리고 상대방과의 관계에 따라 청유 표현을 사용해야 한다. 그래서 본 연구의 2장에서는 먼저 청유 표현의 범주와 기능, 유형 등에 대한 국어학적 연구를 진행하였다. 청유 표현의 개념을 살펴보고 청유 표현을 간접 표현과 직접 표현으로 나누어 그 유형들을 정리하였다.
3장에서는 청유 표현의 교육 현황을 알아보기 위하여 한국어 교재들에 제시된 청유 표현들을 살펴보고 그 문제점을 분석하였으며 해결방안을 제안하였다. 다음은 드라마에 나타난 청유 표현들을 분석하였는데 친밀도와 지위, 나이에 따라 청유 표현이 다양하게 사용되었다. 마지막으로 모어 화자와 외국인 학습자의 청유 표현 사용 양상을 비교하기 위하여 설문조사를 진행하였다. 조사결과 외국인 학습자는 상대방이 자신보다 높은 지위의 사람일 때 높임법을 적절하게 사용하지 않았거나 잘못된 청유 표현을 사용하였다.
4장에서는 위의 분석결과를 바탕으로 PPP모형과 TTT모형을 참고하여 청유 표현 교육 모형을 설계하고 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 교육 모형은 초급과 중급으로 나누어 교육 방안을 제시하였다.
5장에서는 앞 장의 내용을 정리하고, 연구의 의의 및 한계점에 대하여 논의하였다. 본 연구는 청유 표현 교육 현황을 살펴보고 모어 화자와 외국인 학습자의 청유 표현 사용 양상을 분석하였으며 교육 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 하지만 교육 방안은 실제 수업을 통한 검증이 부족하다는 점에서 한계를 가지고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of Korean suggestive imperative expression, then get the educational method for Foreigner learners through the analysis of the Korean textbooks as well as the current uses of native speakers and Foreigner learners.
Korean language learners are often subjected to a lot of situations that you have to ask others to take co-operative actions. When talking to others with the Korean suggestive imperative expression, the speaker should consider not only others’ ages, social positions but also the relationship with others. Therefore, in chapter 2, this study examines on categories and functions of Korean suggestive imperative expression of Korean linguistics first. After searching the concept of Korean suggestive imperative expressions, it splits Korean suggestive imperative expressions into two types—indirect expressions and direct expressions.
In chapter 3, in order to understand the educational situations of the Korean suggestive imperative expressions, this analyzes the Korean suggestive imperative expressions in Korean textbooks and finds the solutions by analyzing. After analyzing the Korean suggestive imperative expressions in Korean dramas, it is concluded that different suggestive imperative expressions should be used in Korean language based on intimacy, social position and age. Lastly, a questionnaire survey is conducted for comparing the current situation of the uses of native speakers and Foreigner learners. According to the survey, Foreigner learners cannot use honorific correctly when talking to someone with higher status or use wrong suggestive imperative expressions in Korean.
In chapter 4, according to the analysis results, an education model is designed for the Korean suggestive imperative expressions and a plan of education is proposed based on PPP model and TTT model. The education model is split into elementary level education plan and intermediate level education plan.
In chapter 5, the dissertation summarizes the above contents and discusses the limitations of this study. It’s significant in this study to compare the current situation of the uses of native speakers and Foreigner learners, and propose a plan of education on the Korean suggestive imperative expressions.
