This study is to improve the language skills of admiration expression as an advanced stage learners that study Korean as a second language. Through the expression pattern of admiration from native speakers and advanced learners, the study comes out an education plan based on the analyzing results.
From previous research studies on Exclamatory Expressions Ending, admiration expression has most of the cases that studied. But in modern Korean, comparing to the admiration express made through the Exclamatory Expressions Ending Exclamatory, Expressions apples, exclamations and admiring tone is admirable elements combine to complete expression of such admiration and tons more.
Therefore, in Chapter 2, the study takes a look at the meaning and scope of the first Korean admiration expressive, syntactic and phonology. It provides the basis and content for the study of investigating the expression pattern of foreign advanced learners and Korean speakers. The survey in Chapter 3 is based on the result in Chapter 2. 29 Korean native speakers and 25 foreign advanced level students were surveyed separately. As a result, there is a different use of Exclamatory Expressions Ending between foreign advanced level learners and native Korean speakers, such as exclamation points that can be recognized. Despite of this, the accent of exclamation expression and the use of vocabulary may become a significant effect on the evaluation of exclamatory expression.
Chapter 4 includes the consideration of the contents of exclamation expression from Chapter 2 and 3, also summarizes a Korean Education Plan for foreign advanced level Korean learner. In order to focus on the education of the exclamation expression as well as admiration expression, the plan contains the use of variety of visual material. This education plan will be run through the four steps of lead in, express, practice and using. In the end, 13 teachers who have the experience of Korean education are asked to do a evaluation of the Education Plan to verify whether the plan is efficient. Over 69% of the teacher in the survey think that the plan presented in this is efficient in the education of Korean as a second language for Advanced level learners.

본 연구는 한국어를 외국어로 배우는 고급 단계 학습자를 위하여 감탄 표현 구사 능력을 향상시키도록 외국인 고급 학습자와 한국인 화자의 감탄 표현 양상을 조사하며 그 결과를 바탕으로 교육 방안을 모색하였다.
선행 연구를 통하여 감탄 표현 연구 중에 감탄형 종결어미에 대한 연구가 가장 많이 보인다. 그러나 현대 한국어에서 감탄형 종결어미를 통하여 이루어진 감탄 표현보다 감탄부사과, 감탄사 그리고 감탄적인 어조 등의 감탄 요소들이 결합하여 완성한 감탄 표현이 더 많다고 한다.
따라서 본고 제2장에서는 우선 한국어 감탄 표현의 범주와 의미적·통사적·음운적 유형별 특성을 살펴봤다. 이것은 외국인 고급 학습자와 한국인 화자의 감탄 표현의 양상을 조사하는 데에 조사 기준과 조사 내용을 제공하였다. 제3장에서 제2장의 결과를 바탕으로 한 설문지를 작성하였다. 29명 외국인 고급 학습자와 25명 한국인을 대상으로 조사하였다. 결과는 감탄 표현에 대해 외국인 고급 학습자가 원어민에 비하여 감탄사의 사용과 감탄형 종결 어미 변별 등 점에 차이가 났다는 것을 알아볼 수 있다. 이 밖에 감탄 표현의 억양과 사용 어휘가 감탄 표현의 평가에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있기도 한다.
제4장은 제2장에서 3장에서 정리한 감탄 표현 내용을 고려하며 외국인 고급 학습자를 대상으로 한 한국어 감탄 표현 교육 방안을 모색하였다. 다양한 시청각 자료를 활용하여 한국어 감탄사와 함께 감탄형 종결어미 변별을 중심으로 작성하였으며 도입, 제시, 연습과 활용 등 네 가지 단계를 겹쳐 교수하는 내용이다. 끝으로 제시한 한국어 감탄 표현 교육 방안은 효과적인 방안인지를 검증하기 위하여 13명 한국어 교육 경력이 있는 교사를 모집하고 교육 방안 평가를 받았다. 실문지 평가를 통하여 제시 단계에서 두 감탄 표현을 구별할 수 있는 구체적인 설문과 예문을 추가해야 하는 지적을 받았으나 69%의 실험자가 본고의 교육 방안은 두 감탄 표현을 구별하는 데에 도움이 되고 효과적인 방안이라는 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.
