국내 다문화가정이 빠르게 증가함으로써 한국 사회도 점차 다문화 사회가 되어 가고 있다. 농촌 총각들이 결혼을 못 하게 되자 정부와 지방 자치제에서 농촌을 살리고 농촌 인구가 감소하는... 국내 다문화가정이 빠르게 증가함으로써 한국 사회도 점차 다문화 사회가 되어 가고 있다. 농촌 총각들이 결혼을 못 하게 되자 정부와 지방 자치제에서 농촌을 살리고 농촌 인구가 감소하는 현상을 막기 위한 대책으로 외국인 여성들과 농촌 총각들의 결혼을 주선하게 되면서 여성결혼이민자 수는 증가하게 되었다. 여성결혼이민자 수가 증가하면서 동시에 다문화 가족의 수도 많이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 한국 남성과 결혼하기 위해 한국에 온 여성결혼이민자들은 한국 사회와 한국어에 제대로 적응하지 못한 상태에서 출산과 양육을 맡아야 하는 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이와 함께 외국인 어머니의 한국어 부족으로 인해 다문화가정 자녀들은 언어적으로 중요한 시기에 제대로 학습하지 못한 상태에서 취학하게 된다. 다문화가정의 아동의 수가 증가하면서 정부에서는 학교생활에 잘 적응하는 방안을 마련하고 있지만, 공교육을 받는 다문화가정 아동을 대상으로 하고 있다. 이런 상황에서 이들이 학교에 입학하게 되면 학교생활에 부적응할 뿐만 아니라 사회 부적응을 심각하게 겪게 될 가능성이 높으므로 한국어 교육은 다문화가정 아동에게 취학 전부터 시작해야 하며 그로 인해 언어적인 문제를 해결하면서 사회적인 문제도 해결할 수 있게 될 것이다. 어휘는 의미를 이해할 수 있는 기초적인 단위로 알고 있는 어휘의 양이 많을수록 언어 사용 능력도 능숙해진다. 따라서 어휘의 학습은 매우 중요한 부분이다. 어휘력의 향상은 곧 언어의 4대 기능인 듣기, 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기 능력의 발전으로 이어지게 된다. 어휘가 중요하지만, 다문화가정 자녀들의 어휘력은 일반 가정 아동보다 부족한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 아동의 어휘력 부족은 의사소통에 영향을 주게 되어 취학 후 학습 능력이 떨어질 수 있다. 이를 이유로 본 연구에서는 다문화가정 아동의 어휘 교육 방법을 연구하고자 한다. 본 연구는 한국어 어휘 학습 지도를 위해 전래동화 스토리텔링을 활용한 교육 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 본 논문의 장별 내용은 다음과 같다. 1장에서는 본 연구의 목적과 필요성을 밝히고 선행 연구들을 살펴본 다음 본 연구와의 차이점에 대해 언급하겠다. 2장에서는 일반 아동의 발달 양상과 다문화가정의 아동 언어 발달 특성을 살펴보고 다문화가정 아동에게 전래동화 스토리텔링을 활용한 한국어 교육이 필요함을 제시해 보겠다. 3장에서는 전래동화의 특징을 살펴보고 다문화가정 아동을 대상으로 하는 한국어 교육에 전래동화가 유용한 점을 밝히고자 한다. 스토리텔링의 개념과 특징을 살펴보고 취학 전 아동기의 특성을 고려하여 전래동화 스토리텔링을 활용한 구체적인 어휘 학습 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 스토리텔링 전과 중과 후에 해당하는 구체적인 활동을 통한 어휘 교육을 제시한다. 4장에서는 2, 3장의 내용을 토대로 취학 전 다문화가정 아동의 특성에 맞는 선정 기준을 제시하고 이를 토대로 빈도수가 높고 기준에 적합한 취학 전 다문화 가정 아동을 위한 전래동화를 선정하고 이를 바탕으로 전래동화 스토리텔링을 구체적으로 활용한 수업 지도안을 제시한다. 마지막으로 5장에서는 결론을 제시하고 본 연구의 의의와 한계 및 앞으로의 과제에 대해 언급하고자 한다. 본 연구는 다문화가정 아동이 취학 후에 학습 능력이 떨어지는 것을 막기 위한 목적으로 의사소통을 위한 어휘 학습에 있다. 따라서 취학 전 다문화가정 아동에게 적절한 전래동화를 선정하고 다양한 스토리텔링 활동을 통하여 수업 지도안을 제시하고자 한다.

Therefore, the Korean multi-cultural families children must be educated before they enter elementary school. If do it that way, language problems and social problems for children of multi-cultural families will be resolved. Among language skills the vocabulary are very important, Multi-cultural Family Children's vocabulary is lacking vocabulary than children's homes. Vocabulary lack of multi-cultural families, children attending the school they can cause communication problems. To that end, the reason this study, intended to study how the vocabulary of education of children from multi-cultural families. Content is as follows In Chapter 1, in examining the needs and objectives of this study, I have looked at and previous studies, and then has mentioned a difference with my research. In Chapter 2, I explained the average family of child language development and multi-cultural characteristics of child language development. I said that multi-cultural families, children must receive an education using story telling with a Korean traditional fairy tale. In Chapter 3, I look at the fairy tales featured in Chapter 3, I said that fairy tales are useful. And I looked at the concepts and features of storytelling. I'm also considering the characteristics of childhood before school entry proposed a specific vocabulary learning. In Chapter 4, I presented the criteria for selection of the characteristics of fairy tales for children from multi-cultural families. And I prepared the teaching and learning methods. I proposed a vocabulary teaching methods through concrete activities by using story telling with a Korean traditional fairy tale based on the standard. In Chapter 5, I got out of the conclusions of the studies I have written about the significance and limitations of this study and future challenges.
