이 논문은 최근 인터넷 공간에서 쓰이는 한국어와 중국어 의성의태어를 분석 대상으로 삼아 인터넷 의성의태어의 다섯 가지 발생 동기에 따른 쓰임을 분석하고, 공통점과 차이점을 규명하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서 논의한 주요 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다.
제1장에서는 이 논문의 연구 목적을 제시하고, 학자들의 선행 연구 성과를 검토하였으며, 연구 대상 및 범위를 제시하였다. 제2장에서는 한국어와 중국어 의성의태어에 대한 여러 사전의 개념 정의를 검토해 보고, 일상생활의 의성의태와 인터넷 의성의태어의 개념을 정의하였다. 이와 함께 인터넷 의성의태어의 발생 배경과 동기를 설명하였다.
제3장에서는 인터넷에서 누리꾼들이 사용하는 의성어의 다섯 가지 발생 동기인 ‘경제적 동기, 오락적 동기, 표현적 동기, 유대 강화 동기, 심리적 해방 동기’에 따라서 형성된 의성어의 쓰임을 제시하고 분석하였다. 또한 한국어와 중국어 인터넷 의성어의 공통점과 차이점을 살펴보았다.
제4장에서는 인터넷에서 누리꾼들이 사용하는 의태어의 쓰임을 통신 언어의 다섯 가지 발생 동기에 따라서 분석하고, 한국어와 중국어 인터넷 의태어의 공통점과 차이점을 살펴보았다.
한국어와 중국어 인터넷 의성의태어들을 다섯 가지 발생 동기에 따라서 비교하고 공통점과 차이점을 밝히려 한 이 연구가 두 언어의 이해와 발전에 도움이 되기를 바란다. 더 나아가 한국인 중국어 학습자와 중국인 한국어 학습자들에게 도움이 되기 바라며, 앞으로도 이 영역에 대한 더욱 더 심층적인 연구가 이어지길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the internet usage of the similarities and differences between Korean and Chinese onomatopoeias and mimic words as well as the 5 aspects behind this phenomenon.
The first chapter mainly covers about the purpose of the research and insight into scholarly research. The second chapter covers the definitions of Korean and Chinese onomatopoeias and mimic words as they appear in the dictionary as well as onomatopoeia usage in our daily lives and their definitions of how they are used on the internet. Background infromation and causes for their appearance on the internet will also be explained.
The third chapter analyzes internet users economic, recreational, expressive, reinforcement and mental states, a total of five aspects to analyze what forms onomatopoeia usage by internet users can take. A comparison of the differences between Korean and Chinese onomatopoeia will also be analyzed.
The fourth chapter, like the third chapter, analyzes internet users economic, recreational, expressive, reinforcement and mental states, a total of five means to analyze what forms mimic word usage by internet users can take. A comparison of the differences between Korean and Chinese minic words will also be analyzed.
By using the five aspects mentioned above and carrying out a comparison between them, we can analyze the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean onomatopoeias and mimic words and how they are used on ther internet. This aims to help scholars from both China and Korea for further future research in this field.
