의태어를 사용하면 자신의 감정을 충분히 표현할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 리듬감 있는 발화를 통해 생생한 언어활동을 할 수 있다. 중국인 학습자들이 증가하면서, 이들을 위한 좀 더 효과적인 신체동작 의태어 교육 방법에 대해 연구하고자 하는 것에 목적이 있다.
한국어와 중국어의 신체동작 의태어의 개념을 정리하고 비교하여, 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 어휘교육의 교수법 이론을 바탕으로 다양한 교육 방법을 찾았다.
2장에서는 한국어 어휘교육에 대한 이론적 접근을 시도하고 어휘교육의 중요성과 어휘교육의 교수법을 살펴봤다.
3장에서 중국어권 한국어 학습자가 한국어 의태어 학습 시 겪게 되는 불편함과 불완전한 학습법을 개선하기 위한 노력으로 사전과 여러 선행 연구의 도움으로 한국어와 중국어의 신체동작 개념 정의 등을 살펴봤고, 두 언어에서 발견되는 신체동작 의태어의 특징을 비교하여 유사점과 차이점에 대하여 고찰했다.
4장에서는 한국어 사용빈도사전, 한국어 교재와 한국어능력시험 에서의 신체동작 의태어 현황을 바탕으로 하여 학습용 어휘목록을 정리했다.
5장에서는 한국어 교육에서 신체동작 의태어의 효과적인 교육 방안을 검토해보았습니다. 신체동작 의태어의 특징에 따른 다양한 교수법을 제시하고 마지막에 수준별로 교수모형을 제시했다.
연구 결론은 다음과 같다. 한국어의 신체동작 의태어는 어휘수가 많을 뿐만 아니라 다양하게 사용되고 있어 중국인 학습자가 그 의미를 이해하는 것은 매우 힘든 일이다. 그렇지만 한국어 학습에서 신체동작 의태어의 사용이 많은 만큼 신체동작 의태어 교육은 반드시 필요하다. 특히 중국에 없는 한국 신체동작 의태어가 많기 때문에 중국어와 한국어의 비교 분석 자료가 있어야 할 것이며 중국에 없는 신체동작 의태어에 대한 다양하고 체계적인 교육 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

The objective of this study was to find effective methods of teaching body-movement- mimetic word to Chinese learners. If you use the mimetic word in your linguistic activity, you may express your emotion better and enjoy more vividly linguistic activity by using rhythmic words. As Chinese workers and students learning Korea language are getting increased, this research is purposed to research on the method of education of the body-movement- mimetic word for them.
The research defines the concept of onomatopoeia and mimetic word of each Korean and Chinese language, compares them, understands the difference of two languages, and researches various educational methods by analyzing the teaching materials and based on the various existing teaching methods.
First, the education of Korea words and teaching methods are described. Then the concept and formation of mimetic word are compared between Chinese language and Korean language. To make a vocabulary for Chinese students, I selected highly used vocabulary lists. The vocabulary selection was based on previous studies on the subjects, frequently used words in Korean learning books, as well as those appeared in TOPIK. These vocabularies were applied to develop various teaching methods, as to stand out characteristics of body-movement-mimetic word.
