This analyzed the form and significance of the ʻ-었-ʼ and ʻ-었었-ʼ that displayed the past time in Korean and the auxiliary words ʻ了ʼ and ʻ过ʼ that represented past time in Chinese and studied the correspondence between ʻ-었-ʼ in Korean and ʻ了ʼ in Chinese, and between ʻ-었었-ʼ in Korean and ʻ过ʼ in Chinese. In addition, it also further analyzed the mistakes made by the Chinese learners of Korean as expressing the behaviors occurred in the past time and found the essential cause. It is helpful for Chinese who learnt Korean to correctly use the past tenses. The first Chapter raises the purpose of this study, clears up previous studies and describes the research object and methods. The tenses have been studied in both Korean and Chinese long before, but people carried out few studies on the comparison between ʻ-었-ʼ, ʻ-었었-ʼ in Korean and the auxiliary words ʻ了ʼ and ʻ过ʼ in Chinese. In addition, there were insufficient studies on the performance of past time for Chinese who learnt Korean. The second Chapter introduces the concept of time-system and phase, comparative analysis theory, as well as error analysis theory involved in the analysis of the performance of past time in Korean and Chinese. The third Chapter describes the time-system of Korean and Chinese and introduces the morphological characteristics and significance characteristics of time marker ʻ-었-ʼ, ʻ-었었-ʼ in Korean and auxiliary words ʻ了ʼ and ʻ过ʼ in Chinese. The fourth Chapter analyzed the corresponding relationship between ʻ-었-ʼ in Korean and ʻ了ʼ in Chinese, and between ʻ-었었-ʼ in Korean and ʻ过ʼ in Chinese based on the current verbal characteristics. It further predicted the difficulties encountered by Chinese people who learnt Korean and analyzed the questionnaire survey results of 61 mid-level Chinese students to identify the cause of the error.
In conclusion, this described the performance characteristics of past time of Korean and Chinese, analyzed the corresponding relationship between them and the mistakes made by Chinese people who learnt Korean. Although the specific educational program was not made in this , it still could help Chinese people who learnt Korean to study Korean.

본 논문에서는 한국어의 과거시간을 표현하는 선어말어미 ʻ-었-ʼ, ʻ-었었-ʼ과 중국어의 조사 ʻ了ʼ, ʻ过ʼ를 대상으로 형태‧의미적 특징을 살펴보고 대응관계를 분석하고 그것을 바탕으로 중국인 한국어 학습자가 과거시간을 표현할 때 생기는 오류를 분석하고 오류 원인을 찾아보았다. 이러한 연구는 중국인 학습자에게 과거시간 표현을 정확하게 사용하도록 도움을 주는데 목적이 있다.
이를 위해 제1장에서는 연구 목적을 제시하고, 선행연구를 검토하였으며, 본고의 연구대상 및 연구방법을 소개하였다. 한국어와 중국어의 시제에 관한 연구는 오랫동안 진행하여 왔으나, 선어말어미 ʻ-었-ʼ, ʻ-었었-ʼ과 중국어의 조사 ʻ了ʼ, ʻ过ʼ에 관한 대조 연구가 거의 없으며, 중국인 학습자를 위한 과거시간 표현에 관한 연구도 부족한 상태이다. 2장에서는 한국어와 중국어의 과거시간 표현을 분석할 때 필요한 시제와 상의 개념 및 대조 분석을 할 때 필요한 대조 분석이론, 학습자의 오류를 분석할 때 필요한 오류 분석이론에 대해 서술하였다. 3장에서는 한국어와 중국어의 시제체계를 정리하였다. 그리고 과거시제 표지인 ʻ-었-ʼ, ʻ-었었-ʼ과 중국어의 조사 ʻ了ʼ, ʻ过ʼ를 형태적‧의미적 특징을 설명하였다. 4장은 본 논문의 핵심이다. 한국어의 ʻ-었-ʼ 중국어의 조사 ʻ了ʼ, 한국어의 ʻ-었었-ʼ과 중국어의 ʻ过ʼ를 선행 동사의 자질에 따라 대응관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 중국인 학습자가 한국어 과거시간 표현을 학습할 때 어려움을 예측하고, 설문조사를 통해서 61명 중급 중국인 학습자의 번역과제를 분석하고 오류 발생 원인을 밝히었다.
이상과 같이 본 연구는 한국어와 중국어의 과거시간 표현의 특징을 살펴보면서 양 언어의 대응되는 경우와 대응하지 않는 경우를 분석해 보았다. 또한 중국인 학습자가 한국어 과거시간 표현을 학습할 때 오류 원인을 살펴보았다. 본인의 능력이 부족해서 구체적인 교육 방안을 모색하지 못했지만 본 연구를 통해서 중국인 한국어 학습자에게 작으나마 도움이 되기를 바란다.
