연구목적: 본 연구는 실험실 종사자의 일반적 특성에 따른 MSDS 인지도를 알아보고 MSDS 인지에 따른 안전보건행동 등을 조사하여 MSDS 인지수준을 파악하여 실험실종사자의 안전문화 정착을 ... 연구목적: 본 연구는 실험실 종사자의 일반적 특성에 따른 MSDS 인지도를 알아보고 MSDS 인지에 따른 안전보건행동 등을 조사하여 MSDS 인지수준을 파악하여 실험실종사자의 안전문화 정착을 위한 기초자료로 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상 및 방법: 본 연구는 전국 15개 대학실험실 및 기업부설기관의 종사자 대상으로 총 180부의 설문지를 배부 170부를 회수 최종자료에 분석 하였다. 연구결과: 일반적 특성에 따른 차이는 연령, 근무기간, 직위는 MSDS 인지도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 인지도는 화학물질 위험성을 잘 알고 있을수록, 화학물질 보관방법을 잘 알고 있을수록 , 취급목록을 잘 이해할수록, MSDS 이용 정도가 높을수록, 인지도가 높았음을 알 수 있었다. MSDS 작성 시 중요도는 누출사고 시 대처방법, 폭발 화재 시 대처 방법, 유해 위험성순으로 높았으며, 운송에 필요한 정보, 회사제품과 회사에 관한 정보 순으로 낮았다. 결론: 본 연구를 종합하여 볼 때 실험실종사자들은 관리의 중요성을 충분히 인지하지 못하고 있는 것으로 보인다. MSDS에 대한 교육을 강화하고, 실험실 종사자가 쉽게 인지할 수 있도록 개편하는 것을 고려해야 할 것이다.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the recognition of MSDS according to general characteristics of laboratory workers and to investigate safety and health behaviors according to MSDS recognition, and to provide MSDS as a basic data for establishing the safety culture of laboratory workers. Subject and Method: 180 copies of survey to workers in 15 college laboratories and company laboratories and collected 170 copies from them for the final analysis. Results of the Study: The differences according to the general characteristics showed that the older the job, the longer the working period, and the higher the job title, the higher the MSDS awareness. The importance of MSDS was high in the order of countermeasures against spills, methods for coping with explosions, and hazardous risks in descending order of information needed for transportation, company products and company information. Recognition is higher when you know the storage of the chemical substance well, the better you understand the material protection, the more you know the first aid measures when you are exposed. If you are helped by MSDS, It is not well known in the laboratory because of low awareness. Conclusion: It was found that the laboratory workers didn’t fully recognize the importance of the management. It is required to strengthen the education of MSDS and revise it so that the laboratory workers can easily recognize it.
