이 논문은 한국 학생과 중국유학생의 거절 화행 전략 양상 대비 분석을 통해서 한국 학생과 중국 유학생의 거절 특징을 알아내고자 한다. 또한 그 분석 결과를 통해 중국인 한국어 학습자를 위해 한국어 거절 화행 교육 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 한국 학생과 중국 유학생이 각각 거절 화행에서 어떠한 전략을 사용하는가, 또한 친구 사이의 친밀도와 성별에 등에 따라 이러한 언어적 표현의 사용이 어떻게 달라지는가를 밝혀보는 것이다. 같은 요구 상황에서 중국 유학생가 언어적 표현을 사용하는 언어형태와 한국 학생과 어떤 차이를 나타내는가를 살피는 것이다. 한 방면으로 한국 학생이 거절 화행의 실현방식의 차이와 교류언어의 차이를 이해하여 학습자들이 거절할 때 문화차이 중 교류의 장애를 되도록 감소하여 교류가 순조롭게 진행되기를 바라고 다른 한 방면으로 한국어교육을 위해 예증과 일정한 자료를 제공하기 바란다.
1장에서는 연구 목적을 제시하고 연구 방법을 설명한 후에 거절 화행에 대한 선행 연구를 검토해 보고자 한다.
2장에서는 거절 화행 이론적 배경을 살펴본다. 거절 화행을 알아보기 전에 먼저 화행이론의 정의부터 설명을 제시하고 거절 화행의 정의 및 특징을 정리한다. 그리고 거절 화행의 분류도 제시한다.
3장에서는 한국 대학생과 중국유학생의 거절 화행 전략 양상을 대비 분석한다. 이 대비 분석은 한국어 거절 화행에 관한 설문지에 나타난 한·중 화자의 성별에 따른 거절 전략 양상 비교, 친밀도에 따른 전략 양상 비교로 나누어서 분석하였다.
4장에서 한국 학생과 중국 유학생의 거절 화행 전략 양상을 비교하여 분석하고 중국인 한국어 학습자를 위해서 한국어 수업에서 활용할 수 있는 교수방안 예를 제시하였다.
5장에서 연구 결과를 정리한다.

This study figured out the refusal characteristics of Korean students and Chinese students through the comparison of refusal speech act strategies between them. In addition, from the analysis results, it is aimed to present the teaching methods of Korean refusal speech act for Chinese Korean learners. The strategies that the Korean students and Chinese students use in the refusal speech act and the difference of the use of linguistic expression according to the degree of intimacy and gender in the friend relationship were revealed. In the same demanding situation, the differences between the language forms that the Chinese students use in the linguistic expression and that of the Korean students were investigated. On one hand, in terms of Korean students, by understanding the difference of the realization of refusal speech act and the difference of the communication languages, they hope that they can conduct the communication smoothly when refusing, while reducing the obstacles of communication resulting from the cultural difference. On the other hand, it is hoped that illustration and specific materials for Korean education could be provided.
In the first chapter, the research purpose was presented. After explaining the research methods, previous studies about refusal speech act were reviewed.
In the second chapter, the theoretical background of refusal speech act was discussed. Before looking into the refusal speech act, from the definition of speech act theory, explanations were brought forward. The definition and characteristics of refusal speech act were summarized. Moreover, the classification of refusal speech act was presented also.
In the third chapter, comparative analysis of the refusal speech act strategies between Korean students and Chinese students was conducted. With the data obtained from the questionnaire related to Korean refusal speech act, the comparative analysis was divided into the refusal strategies analysis according to the gender of the subjects from China and Korea and the refusal strategies analysis according to the degree of intimacy and detailed analyses were accomplished.
In the fourth chapter, the refusal speech act strategies between Korean students and Chinese students were compared and analyzed. For the Chinese Korean learners, the examples of the teaching methods which can be used in the Korean class were presented.
In the fifth chapter, the research results were summarized.
