This study researched into a plan for developing Korean Language textbook for trading as the Korean education with special aim. Korea and China are active in economic and cultural exchange. Even in Korean-language education, Chinese learners are possessing the majority. Accordingly, this study aimed to suggest direction of developing textbook, which properly integrated the basic knowledge in trading and the Korean language education, targeting Chinese learners.
In Chapter 1 was described on the research objective and necessity for trading-purposed Korean language education and textbook.
In Chapter 2, it described on the curricular course of the trading-purposed Korean language and the present status of textbook at home and Chinese university, and examined a preceding research that is the closest to the contents of this study out of Korean language education with special aim.
In Chapter 3, it carried out questionnaire survey targeting students for the Department of Korean Language at Chinese university, and then elicited results after analyzing satisfaction, problem, necessity and demand for the learning and textbook for trading-purposed Korean language.
In Chapter 4, it analyzed by dividing 5 trading-purposed Korean language textbooks within Korea into the external composition and the internal composition, based on analysis and evaluation of the existing textbook, and arranged the results.
In Chapter 5, it synthesized the results of the analysis of learners' needs and the analysis on textbook, suggested principle and direction of trading-purposed Korean language textbook, and tried to actually form one unit.
In Chapter 6 was arranged the findings, and was suggested the insufficient section and the direction that will need to be researched further in the future.
Based on the above discussions, the principle of developing trading-purposed Korean language textbook could be established as follows. First, the contents in the practical affairs of trade need to be focused. Second, the practical communication should be made possible centering on real conversation available for directly using on the trading field. Third, there is necessity for minutely suggesting in order to learn a skill available for preparing a trading letter. Fourth, there is necessity for fully explaining by categorizing description of the specialized trading terminology, for suggesting a real case of trading procedure and trading document, and for allowing the whole business in trade to be understood. Fifth, the recently trading trend or economic flow needs to be reflected. Sixthly, the phased development in textbook for a beginner and intermediate grade needs to be made by selecting difficulty level in trading-purposed Korean language. Seventh, there is necessity for making it helpful for learning by offering diverse episodes or photo materials in line with topic, and by preparing for audio-visual materials. Eighth, it introduces Korean people's emotion or culture, and includes trading etiquette. This study is desired to be helpful even slightly for a follow-up research in the real situation that there has almost no preceding researches relevant to trading-purposed Korean language so far. Development in trading-purposed Korean language textbook in line with learners' objective is expected to be likely made by being continuously surveyed and researched hereafter into trading-purposed Korean language.

본 연구에서는 특수 목적 한국어 교육으로서 무역 한국어의 교재 개발 방안을 연구하였다. 한국과 중국은 경제·문화적 교류가 활발하고 한국어 교육에 있어서도 중국인 학습자가 많은 수를 차지하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 무역의 기초 지식과 한국어 교육을 적절히 접목한 교재 개발 방향을 제시하고자 다음과 같은 연구를 진행하였다.
1장에서는 무역 한국어 교육과 교재에 대한 연구 목적 및 필요성에 대해 기술하였다.
2장에서는 국내와 중국 대학의 무역 한국어 교과 과정 및 교재 현황에 대해 기술하고 특수 목적 한국어 교육 중 본 연구의 내용과 가장 근접한 선행 연구를 살펴보았다.
3장에서는 중국 대학의 한국어과 학생들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 무역 한국어 학습과 교재에 대한 만족도, 문제점, 필요성, 요구 등 을 분석하고 결과를 도출하였다.
4장에서는 기존의 교재 분석과 평가를 토대로 중국 내 무역 한국어 교재 5권을 외적 구성과 내적 구성으로 나누어 분석하고 결과를 정리하였다.
5장에서는 학습자 요구 분석과 교재 분석 결과를 종합하여 무역 한국어 교재의 원리와 방향을 제시하고, 실제 한 단원을 구성하여 보았다.
6장에서는 연구 결과를 정리하고 부족한 부분과 앞으로 더 연구해야 할 방향을 제시하였다.
이상의 논의를 바탕으로 무역 한국어 교재 개발의 원리를 다음과 같이 설정할 수 있었다. 첫째, 무역 실무 내용이 중심이 되어야 한다. 둘째, 무역 현장에서 직접 사용할 수 있는 실제적인 대화를 중심으로 실용적인 의사소통을 할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 무역 서한을 작성할 수 있는 기술을 익히도록 상세히 제시해야 한다. 넷째, 전문 무역 용어의 설명을 범주화하여 충분히 설명하고, 무역 절차와 무역 서류의 실례를 제시하여 무역의 전반적인 업무를 이해하게 해야 한다. 다섯째, 최근 무역 경향이나 경제 흐름을 반영해야 한다. 여섯째, 무역 한국어의 난이도를 선정하여 초·중급의 단계적인 교재 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 일곱째, 주제에 맞는 다양한 삽화나 사진자료 제공과 시청각자료 준비로 학습에 도움이 되게 한다. 여덟째, 한국인의 정서나 문화를 소개하고 무역 예절을 포함시킨다. 본 연구가 지금까지 무역 한국어와 관련한 선행 연구가 거의 없는 실정에서 후속 연구에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라며, 향후 무역 한국어에 대한 조사와 연구가 지속되어 학습자의 목적에 맞는 무역 한국어 교재 개발이 이루어지기를 기대하여 본다.
