1990년대 중반부터 증가하기 시작하여 2000년대 이후 급격히 증가한 국제결혼으로 인해 한국도 어느덧 다문화 사회로 접어들고 있다. 이처럼 다문화 가정이 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 그동안 학계에서도 다문화 및 결혼이민자와 관련한 연구가 많이 진행되었다. 그러나 이는 주로 인문사회 계열이나 가족복지적인 차원에서 연구되었고 경영학 분야에서는 다문화 관련 연구를 거의 찾아볼 수가 없었다. 국가마케팅 차원에서도 여성결혼이민자의 원만한 한국사회 정착은 중요한 국가적, 사회적 과제라 할 수 있다.
따라서 본 연구에서는 다문화가정 여성결혼이민자의 한국생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 원인변수를 파악하고 한국생활만족도가 한국정착의지에 미치는 영향관계를 고찰하고자 하였다. 또한, 여성결혼이민자가 지각하는 한국인 정체성 지각 정도, 한국문화 적응정도, 한국 정부의 관심 및 정책적 지원 정도가 한국생활만족도와 한국정착의지 간 영향관계에 조절변수로서 작용하는 상황을 고찰하였다.
본 연구에서는 서베이 방식을 이용하였으며 한국어를 포함하여 영어, 중국어, 일본어, 베트남어, 필리핀어, 몽골어 등 각국 언어로 번역된 설문지를 제작하였다. 설문조사는 다국적 조사원의 도움을 받아 2013년 9월과 10월 두 달간 자기기입식 방식으로 이루어졌다.
다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 여성결혼이민자의 지각된 경제적 수준, 배우자 지지, 사회적 지지가 한국생활만족도에 정(/)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 긍정적 인생관도 정(/)의 방향성을 보여주었다. 또한, 여성결혼이민자의 한국생활만족도가 한국정착의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 한국선호도가 이를 매개하는 부분매개효과가 검증되었다. 여성결혼이민자의 한국인 정체성 지각 정도가 높을수록, 한국문화 적응정도가 높을수록, 한국 정부의 관심 및 정책적 지원 정도가 높을수록 한국생활만족도가 한국정착의지에 미치는 영향이 더 분명하게 나타나는 조절효과가 검증되었다.
본 연구의 결과는 경영학 및 마케팅 분야에서 다문화와 결혼이민자에 대한 연구 저변을 넓히는 학술적 기여점이 있으며 궁극적으로 여성결혼이민자의 한국정착의지 향상에 대한 영향관계를 검증함으로써 국가 차원의 정책 입안에도 실무적 시사점을 제공한다.
향후 연구에서는 연구의 일반화를 위해 여성결혼이민자를 비롯하여 남성이나 기타 외국인 등으로 연구대상을 넓힐 필요가 있으며 충분한 샘플 확보를 통해 국적 등 인구통계적 변수에 따른 차이를 분석해볼 필요가 있다. 또한, 서베이 방식의 단점을 보완하기 위해 실험, 관찰, 면접법 등 연구방법을 다변화하고 질적 연구를 활용하여 보다 깊이 있는 연구결과 도출이 요구된다.

Due to rapidly increasing international marriage since 2000s, South Korea is changing into multicultural society. There has been a lot of studies related to multicultural families and married immigrant women. However, lots of researches have been mostly conducted in humanities, administrative science and social welfare field, not in business administration field. As a nation, to help immigrant women to harmoniously settle in korean society is very important national and social assignment.
This study investigates causal variables affecting life satisfaction of married immigrant women of multicultural families in Korea and a causal relationship between their life satisfaction and willingness for resettlement in Korea. Also, this study verifies that establishing identity as Korean, adapting to Korean culture, receiving interests and aides from the Korean government moderate the influential relationship between life satisfaction and willingness for resettlement of married immigrant women in Korea.
Questionnaire has been developed and translated into Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipino and Mongolian. The survey was conducted for two months in self-administered manner, helped by multinational research assistants.
As a result of multiple regression analysis, we found that perceived economic level, spousal support, social support and positive view of life of married immigrant women affirmatively influence their life satisfaction in Korea. Also, partial mediating effect was confirmed among life satisfaction, liking of Korea and willingness for resettlement of married immigrant women in Korea. Finally, moderating effect of establishing identity as Korean, adapting to Korean culture, receiving interests and aides from the Korean government for the relationship between life satisfaction and willingness for resettlement of married immigrant women was demonstrated.
This study provides both academic and practical implications. The result of this study contributes to expand the research base related to multicultural families and immigrant women in Korea in marketing field and offers implemental ideas for the Korean government.
However, this study has the following limitations. There were not enough samples to analyze differences caused by demographic characteristics. Further study should use various research methods to supplement weaknesses of survey method and broaden the research objects not only married immigrant women but also immigrant men and other foreigners.
